Digital Doorways is a non-profit organization in Houston, Texas, dedicated to enhancing digital literacy in immigrant communities. We empower individuals through education and community-building initiatives.
Our mission is to bridge the digital divide for underserved communities in southeast Houston. By offering free educational programs, we help immigrants, children, and adults access technology and gain essential skills for the modern world. We are dedicated to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive in an increasingly digital world by focusing on digital access and literacy. Through our initiatives, we aim to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives.
We host beginner-friendly coding camps to teach kids the basics of programming in a supportive environment. No prior experience needed!
Our adult classes focus on teaching basic computer skills, from creating documents in Google Docs to understanding email and online tools.
High school volunteers are at the heart of our work, bringing enthusiasm and knowledge to help our students thrive.
